@MDNnewss Speaking at Olorato Mongale’s funeral in Bloemfontein, Deputy Police Minister Polly Boshielo confirmed that lead suspect Philangenkosi Makhanya is now in permanent custody following his death in a police shootout on May 30 in Amanzimtoti. She said while his death offers some closure, the search for a remaining suspect, Bongani Mthimkhulu, continues and the police will not rest until he’s brought to justice.
