The highly anticipated third season of “Izingane Ze’Sthembu” is set to bring even more drama and explosive moments, and Tirelo Kale, Mpumelelo Mseleku’s girlfriend and the mother of his child, is at the centre of it all.

The recent trailer for season 3 gave viewers a glimpse into what appears to be trouble in paradise for Kale and Mseleku.

With the new season set to bring even more drama and explosive moments, Kale spoke to "Independent Media Lifestyle" and shared her thoughts on the cracks forming in her relationship with Mpumelelo, her journey of self-discovery, and what it is like being part of the Mseleku family.

The young mother opened up about her turbulent relationship with Mpumelelo, revealing that she did not see the cracks forming.

“I honestly didn’t see the cracks forming in our relationship,” she said. “It really seemed solid until it wasn’t. The betrayal … wow, I genuinely didn’t expect it.”

This unexpected turn of events has left Kale overwhelmed, and she is now on a journey of self-discovery.

When asked to elaborate on her statement that the upcoming season has been eye-opening, Kale revealed that she will be doing "a lot of realising".

“This season has been a journey of eye-opening experiences for me, especially to a lot of things that I turned a blind eye to,” said Kale.

As she navigates the ups and downs of her relationship, her priorities are clear: her son Singabakho Mseleku.

“My son is my priority, no matter the drama happening in my relationship with Mpumelelo, I make sure he feels loved and safe,” she emphasised.

With a strong support system in place, including her family and Mseleku’s mother, she is determined to keep her son’s best interests at heart.

When asked what it has been like to be part of the Mseleku family and if she feels that she has found her place among the Mseleku siblings, the mother of one admitted that it has been a learning curve.

“I wouldn’t say I’m part of the Mseleku family, but being around them and spending time with them, I can say it has been a unique and challenging experience for me ... I’m still navigating that space. I believe building bonds takes time, and I’m learning as I go.”

Izingane Zes’thembu” is a spin-off of the popular show “Uthando Nes’thembu”. The third season continues to follow the lives of the five older Mseleku siblings - Mpumelelo, Mpilo, Sne, Lwandle, and Abongwe - as they navigate the ups and downs of young adulthood.

Kale’s relationship will also be taking centre stage, as well as how she navigates her relationships and being in the same space with the Mseleku siblings.

With season 3 promising to be more dramatic than ever, viewers are eager to see what is in store for Kale and Mseleku’s relationship. Will Tirelo’s decision to leave be the final straw?

Season 3 is set to air on Mzansi Magic (DStv channel 161) on May 25 at 7pm.
